about
i am only out ABDL mental health provider in the nation. i am a sexological consultant, public health scholar, and licensed clinical social worker in private practice.
i host and produce a video podcast, Daddy Dialogues, that invites vanillas and kinksters to join the stylish, sexy, smart set in conversation around scholarship, professional efforts, creative expression, and humor.
i lives in Palm Springs with my partner. i am proud alum of Vassar (Meryl Streep, Sasha Valour, Lisa Kudrow, hello!), Columbia, Cornell, and holds two postdocs in psychiatry.
recent work in kink, ageplay, dom/sub experience, and clinical practice
in collaboration with colleagues at TASHRA, we are transforming how we understand kink, mental health, and erotic caregiving. i am leading pioneering research on adult baby diaper love (ABDK), including a multi-language scoping review and a concept mapping study with 300 participants. a forthcoming peer-reviewed chapter, on queer freudianism and ABDL in eroticism, behavior, and identity: affirming therapeutic approaches, will appear in bdsm in therapy (rowman & littlefield / bloomsbury, 2026).
i am the producer and host of daddy dialogues, a podcast exploring radical love, queer embodiment, and erotic power, recently nominated for the 2025 AASECT Amplifying Voices Award. I am also co-developing "Atomic Ageless Dreaming: Cradle and Crown", an interactive therapeutic video game exploring ABDL and queer healing through symbolic play and attachment-based storytelling.
clinically, i offersindividual, couples, and group support to clients navigating alternative sexualities, trauma recovery, and complex relational dynamics. drawing from his background in psychiatry, developmental psychology, and social work, he provides affirming, evidence-informed care to kinksters, ABDL-identified adults, and their partners. his teaching portfolio includes advanced courses in mental health policy, research methods, and concept mapping, and he has supervised graduate interns in social work, psychology, and library science.
teaching experience
i have served as adjunct faculty roles at UCLA, Columbia, Temple, Smith, and the University of Denver.
as the Founding Program Director and Professor of Practice in Social Work at Utica University, i established the nation's first and only recovery-oriented graduate program in clinical social work, which is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). teaching and curriculum development have focused on coursework on diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theories, comparative mental health policy, advocacy for mental health, trauma-informed approaches to recovery from addictions and mental illness, clinical case evaluation, research methods, and community-based social work.
thank you for these incredible refrigerator magnets, Allison, my loveliest, verviest, funniest, and definitely rizziest former student from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. you are my favorite rock star of all time. i guess i'm a social work hero, too.
